This latest release was a complete rewrite of our front-end. After running through some user interviews and getting users onboarded, we discovered a number of opportunities to refine and improve our onboarding process through UX designs and flow.

Product Release Notes

To help developers and managers start connecting the time they spend, to the work they output, we have included a new "contributions" feature in our latest release. This feature allows users to see each git branch that is being worked on, and the time spent on that branch during the day. This will make it easier for teams to track their progress and improve their time management.

New Features:

• Code Insight Engine: Analyze your codebase to get actionable insights on code quality and areas of improvement.
• Collaboration Hub: A new centralized space where teams can discuss code, review pull requests, and share knowledge.
• Dark Mode: Due to popular demand, Perspect now supports dark mode for those late-night coding sessions.

Bug Fixes:

• Resolved an issue where the code metrics were not updating in real-time (#4567).
• Fixed a bug causing the platform to crash when importing large codebases (#4621).
• Addressed an error in the notification system leading to duplicate alerts (#4599).

Deprecations:

The legacyReview system will be phased out in version 3.0.0. Users are advised to transition to the Collaboration Hub.

Known Issues

Some users might experience a slight delay in loading the Collaboration Hub on older browsers.
